Healthy chocolate cream recipe
For 4 persons
3 egg yolk
180g dark chocolate (minimum 70% cacao)
Preparation: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 10 minutes
Rest: 2 hours
Total time: 2 hours 15 minutes
- Separate the egg yolk. Mix together the egg yolk with the sugar to obtain a white mix lightly creamy.
- Start boiling the milk on the gas. Progressively pour the egg and sugar in the milk but continue mixing all the time. Keep cooking this cream with a very light fire, and mix continually with your spoon. Once the cream has the right texture, set aside.
- Add the chocolate piece by piece in the warm cream, and mix.
- Place the cream in the fridge for 2 hours. Then enjoy your delicious healthy chocolate cream!
Our recommendation to make even better… keep some piece of chocolate aside, that you cut in small pieces. Once the cream has cooled down a bit (after 15 minutes in the fridge) add the chocolate bites to the cream and mix.
The bites will melt a little bit but not completely, and will bring a crunchy aspect to your cream (as you can see in the photo). So yummy!
Another trick… add some slices of banana to the cream. The banana taste works well with the chocolate, making it very hard to resist, and still healthy!
